We are excited to partner with The Luxury Education Foundation and Parsons The New School for Design in the Luxury Craftsmanship Workshop. The Luxury Education Foundation, launched in 2004 provides undergraduate and graduate students in Design and Business related to the creation and marketing of luxury goods. Maclaren is honoured to have been a part of LEF’s programmes throughout the years and more recently the Luxury Craftsmanship Workshop, which provides design students a unique, hands-on educational experience. Through the programme, sixteen exceptional students from Parsons The New School for Design were selected to work alongside Designers, Senior Executives and Artisans from four luxury companies. Each group of students set out attain specific knowledge on techniques and approaches that have become a part of each company’s core values. We were honoured to work with a group of four design students who were each tasked with creating a bespoke buggy. Head on over to our Facebook page to view images from the Workshop.
